Really nice, but very small. I like this because it doesn’t seem obvious you are carrying a wallet and as such would make it easy to conceal from thieves. However, due to it being small I always worry I have forgotten it!
Very durable and well made. Can see this lasting for years. Have got it wet, hot, cold, works well, very minimalist

I have used a lot of wallets, from high tech, to old school, to minimalist, to bulky carry everything. This wallet is my new favourite. It is not flimsy or weak, the material is thin, but strong so far. Does not give any indication that it will break or tear so far.
Get this is you have 8 or less cards. 2 cards in each slot still keeps this wallet really thin, and adding 1-6 notes makes little difference. The wallet material does have a good grip, but not so bad that it sticks getting it in or out of my front or back pockets. That said if you wear really tight pants then it might be more of a struggle. But I like it because at least you don’t get the impression that it can easily slide out of your pants.

Excellent Wallet

This wallet feels good in the hand. It closes easily, and seems like it’ll last a long time with daily use.
It’s a tiny bit hard to get ~10 cards in the thing, but I suspect the material might soften up a little over time. Nice bill-pouch in the middle. As with many wallets, a thicc stack of bills will make this hard to close. If you like rolling deep with cash (like, 25+ bills at a time), this might not be for you.
Overall, happy I got it.

One of the best wallets I’ve ever used. Yes, high-end leather wallets feel and look luxurious but none can fit in your back pocket almost unnoticeably, even while sitting! The material is grippy and has certain quality to it that makes it feel really high-tech. That, combined with the really deep black color makes it look really good. A concern I had before buying it was whether or not it will fully fit UAE banknotes, and I’m happy to report that it is just large enough.

My previous wallet was a EDC-style trifold via Kickstarter that had one semi-enclosed pocket for storing bills. The elastic band that was supposed to wrap around the flaps in the closed position had become loose after 2-3 years of use, so I started looking for a new wallet. Ultimately settled onto the DAKA bifold as I’ve already had leather bifolds and was not interested at all re: “minimalist” wallets.
Compared to traditional wallets, the material on the DAKA is relatively rigid, so it’s not possible to go George Costanza stuffing all your IDs, plastic, loyalty and bits of paper in them. Having 10-20 bills in the main back pocket is doable with some difficulty. Any more than that, and I still need a full size wallet or passport case.
Having used it for the past 11 months, I liked it a lot. It doesn’t attract attention. It doesn’t get stuck in pockets. It still held up like new.
Recommended — as long as you can live with its limited capacity.

There is really not much to say about this wallet, but I will try. This is both good and bad. Good, because there are no negative surprises, bad, because it doesn’t impress, beyond delivering on what it promises. Ok, so that’s not really bad, is it.
Outside, the surface is soft and finely patterned for a good grip. Won’t be slipping out of your pocket on its own. The entire wallet does not have any structure to it or a spine, it’s just kinda floppy, and the fold is not well articulated, so if you don’t keep tons of stuff in it to make use of the generous space inside, I assume (hope) it will flatten a bit over time. The Magpul logo is stamped in the corner.
Inside, there is a cash/bill pocket (there’s no money clip), and 4 slots for cards, two on either side. The top one is sized just large enough to take a credit card, you CAN slip in a second one in there, but you’re beginning to stretch the opening. I don’t know how resistant to stretching and tearing this material is, so I would avoid overstuffing this. Both slots share the same space inside, cards will rub on each other, something to keep in mind. The bottom slot opening runs the length of the wallet, so it can accept much wider cards, and also you can stuff it more. It is easy enough to slip a card into this opening, but it gets much easier if there is already a card in the top slot.
The cash pocket is not very tall, it works well for US and Canadian currency, I have about 3mm left when I put in some Canadian money (which is slightly taller than US bills). Measure your country’s currency first before buying. I can already see that Euro bills, which are variable size, START at the size of Canadian bills, and go up from there, so that’s going to be an issue. Many Asian currencies are also out of luck.
Probably not a wallet for travel, due to issues fitting local currency bills, but so far it does everything I need for my daily life.
